Bailee Higgins (she/her) is an Unama’ki - Cape Breton Island based visual artist and art educator with a passion for community-based work.

Her art practice currently focuses on landscape painting. She creates bright, bold, and vibrant paintings inspired by her surroundings which are aimed at capturing the essence and feeling of a place.

Bailee is a graduate of NSCAD’s Master of Arts in Art Education (2022), Mount Allison University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (2020), and CBU’s Bachelor of Education (Secondary, 2024). She currently resides in Coxheath, NS.
